Here are some tips to help your family turn school pictures into heirloom treasures.

Picture Day with Slow Road is different (in all the best ways)!

You will not need to pre-purchase photos, register, or fill out any order forms before Picture Day.
There will be a scheduled retake day for students who are absent on Picture Day .

Our photographers will spend about a minute with each student, and during that time they will help your student feel comfortable, adjust any collars and necklace clasps, and capture images that look natural and artistic.
We will never ask students to say "cheese!" or force them into any unnatural poses. Instead, our photographers will simply let the students be themselves, and the result will be genuine and artistic images that you will love!

About 3 weeks after Picture Day, you will receive a private online gallery containing the best three images for each of your students in both color and black and white. From there, you will have the option to purchase individual prints, digital downloads, and discounted packages right out of your gallery.

We want your student to feel GREAT on Picture Day!
What to Wear
Your child’s photos look best when they are wearing something that is SO “them”! We also LOVE details, stripes, and patterns. If possible, try to avoid neon and shirts with lots of text. Check with your school to confirm any instructions they may have about uniforms.
Our Approach
Your child will have the chance to be themselves in front of the camera! We will never ask a kiddo to say “Cheeeeese!”. Instead, we will welcome them to do what they do best- just be themselves!
Your Images
We want your student’s full personality to come through in these photos, which is why your gallery will contain the best moments from their session so you can mix and match your favorites.

Good news! With Slow Road Photo, you don’t need to preorder a single thing or turn in any paper order forms to your school. All you need to do is sit back and relax as we prepare your personalized gallery! We will check in after Picture Day to let you know when your child’s photos will be hitting your email inbox. Once you receive your images, you will have the chance to place your order online for both printed products and digital downloads.
